So, what’s the situation? It’s this. If you’re in California, and you want your skilled nursing staff to have the benefits of a wireless nurse call system, it had better comply with Edition 7 of the UL-1069 standard. That’s the new standard for wireless nurse call systems. The trick is that most wireless nurse call systems don’t currently comply with these standards, meaning, they cannot be a permanent solution for your campus.

We are introducing a new wireless nurse call system that is specifically designed for small skilled nursing communities and fully compliant with California’s new UL-1069 standard. RCare’s BCube wireless nurse call system was created for smaller senior communities with 128 beds or fewer. They also receive the best analytics and reporting tools available, at a fraction of the cost.
