RCare's BCube at LeadingAge California

Can We Buy You Coffee at LeadingAge CA? Thanks a Latte!

We’re going to be in Monterey for this year’s LeadingAge California Conference and Expo. And we have some exciting news, new products to share and mostly we can’t wait to see you. In fact, we want to buy you coffee. If you simply make an appointment with us during the show, we’ll give you a Starbucks gift card!

Because we’ve got a latte to talk about.

Sorry. We’ll be done with the coffee puns soon. Cool beans?

So, what’s the situation? It’s this. If you’re in California, and you want your skilled nursing staff to have the benefits of a wireless nurse call system, it had better comply with Edition 7 of the UL-1069 standard. That’s the new standard for wireless nurse call systems. The trick is that most wireless nurse call systems don’t currently comply with these standards, meaning, they cannot be a permanent solution for your campus.

Don’t worry, we got you!

We are introducing a new wireless nurse call system that is specifically designed for small skilled nursing communities and fully compliant with California’s new UL-1069 standard. RCare’s BCube wireless nurse call system was created for smaller senior communities with 128 beds or fewer. This UL-1069 ed 7-compliant system is the first full-featured wireless nurse call system designed and priced for small campuses.

RCare is the most comprehensive and advanced wireless nurse call system on the market (and also complies with the UL-1069 ed 7 standard). RCare has a variety of nurse call and remote monitoring technologies scaled and priced for all facilities big and small. RCare is always on, always listening to a variety of wired and wireless emergency transmitter devices, pendants and sensors placed through the community. Administrators can choose how, when and which caregivers will receive alerts. When an alert is triggered, designated caregivers can be notified by email, text, page, phone call, etc. Calls can be received on dedicated HIPAA-compliant RPhone smart phones, that include the unique “I got it” feature that lets caregivers claim a call to prevent duplication of effort and unanswered calls. You can track response times and billable services and download reports and analytics to provide better care .

With the BCube, communities get the benefits of the existing, thoroughly-developed, tested and supported functionality of the larger RCube solution, with a customized, re-engineered and redesigned platform to serve fewer beds. They also receive the best analytics and reporting tools available, at a fraction of the cost.

“There are virtually no technology options designed for these small senior campuses,” said RCare CEO Myron Kowal. “We saw an opportunity to take all of the features of our flagship nurse call technology and scale it to a smaller comprehensive package, customized and priced for this demographic. All of our products meet the latest UL-1069 standards.”

This is the 56th annual LeadingAge California Conference and Exposition. It brings together senior housing, care, and service providers, experts, businesses, and non-profits to share best practices, strengthen skills, share industry insights, and address today’s most challenging issues in the aging services arena.

Salient Networks will be showcasing their technical consulting and implementation expertise as well as promoting leading senior housing technology solutions such as RCare’s BCube Wireless Nurse Call System, and the HIPAA-compliant RPhone.
