New Developments: What’s new with Salient Networks?
New partnership with CAHF: Our Senior Living team is thrilled about our new partnership with the California Association of Health Facilities. CAHF’s annual expo is coming up in November (Palm Springs, here we come!), and we can’t wait to make new connections.
Hurricane Harvey & Irma is no match for our new Data Center: Our hearts go out to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey & Hurricane Irma. Because we pride ourselves on extending seamless, turn-key service to our clients, some of you may not know that one of Salient Networks’ data centers is located in Katy, Texas, a suburb of Houston. We are lucky to announce that despite the catastrophic weather in the region, our chosen data center in Texas never experienced any downtime. Our Cloud solutions, including our robust hosted phone services, are built to provide business continuity to keep your organization responsive to your clients. If you or anyone you know could benefit from services that we provide in response to the Harvey disaster, Salient Networks would be pleased to offer our services for free and pass through anything we must procure at our cost, until they are back on their feet. Please call us to discuss.
Hosted Network Services are here: Salient Networks has expanded our popular Managed Care services to include comprehensive Remote Monitoring and Management of servers and desktops, complete with 24×7 live help desk for PC support, and 24×7 live monitoring and proactive trouble resolution for servers. All services are based on a simple monthly price with unlimited tickets and help desk calls, so that you can focus on your own strategic goals without worrying about IT issues. Stay tuned for more detailed information over the next few weeks – or check out the details on our website.
Salient Staff and the Community
What do our engineers, project managers, sales reps, and ops team do when they’re not solving the world’s telecommunications problems? Take a look!
Serving the underprivileged: Matt Bryant leads worship and helps chop potatoes at God’s Extended Hand Mission (a homeless shelter) in downtown San Diego.
Letting out their inner drama queen: Brandon Phelps and Chelsea Robinson are typically involved in at least 4 stage productions a year, thanks to the local theatre community in Escondido. Chelsea even managed to boss Brandon around in their most recent production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Thanks to Brandon’s wonderfully expressive face (and a creative fellow actor), a few of the production stills got fantastic meme-makeovers.
Running a different kind of Board Meeting: James Lee, our resident windsurfing expert, has made it a tradition to drag his co-workers away from the computer screen and into the sun! The picture above shows that James actually knows what he’s doing.
Hanging out with the girls: Left to right – Suzie, Toni, Chelsea, Kim. Whenever Kim Green is in town from the distant land of Virginia, the Ladies of Sales have to celebrate! Let the sangria and laughter flow!
Climbing every mountain: Not to be outdone by Brandon or James, Chelsea recently completed her first backpacking adventure, which included the 14,042-foot Mount Langley! “Look, Mom! No guard rails!”
